General Rules of the IDTA Cyprus Dance Competition
Participation Rules
Only the members of the IDTA could apply for registration of their students to participate in the competition
Professional dancers, teachers and certified instructors are not permitted to participate on the competition
A valid IDTA member's card should be presented by the teacher/principle of the students at the administration table of the competition to receive the participation "number" of the couple, solo or group
20% of the participants of each dancing group could exceed the age limit (ex. 2 of 10 dancers in a junior group could be youth)
Every participant is responsible for his/her health.The IDTA CyprusBallroom Branch has no responsibilities for any injuries or mental meltdowns before, during and after the competition.
The IDTA Cyprus Ballroom Branch has no responsibilities for anyloss of private belongings of the audienceand of the participants.
The competition will be videographed and photographed by a professional videographer/photographer. Along with the registration for the competition, the participants, the audience and officials, consent that the material will be provided for usage on social media andthe website of the IDTA Cyprus Ballroom Branch.
The videography and the photography is forbidden during the competition by the audience, the participants and coaches
The materialof the visual content will be provided for sale bythe official photographers/videographers of the competition
Fees and CostsAudience:
The ticket fee for the audience is 10€/Person over 7 years old
The entrance for the children up to 6 years old is free of cost
Participants:
The participation fee for each dancer is 15€/1 category, 20€/2 categories, 25€/3 categories, 30€/4 categories, 35€/5 categories, 40€/6 categories, 45€/7 categories and 50€/unlimited categories
The teachers/principals are responsible to collect all the participation fees, and pay during the registration at the administration table on the day of the competition, along with the list of the participants
