1.1. Participants must be at least 18 years old to compete in the Pole Theme competition. Participants aged 5–17 will compete in the Pole Theme Kids competition.
1.2. Upcoming Events & Themes:
March 11, 2027 – Pole & Stage Testing: Optional for all competitors. A detailed schedule will follow closer to the event date.
March 12, 2027 – Pole Theme Kids: Comics:
Kids can perform routines inspired by any comic book character of their choice.
Character Limit: To ensure variety in the showcase, there is a strict limit of three (3) performances per specific character. This operates on a first-come, first-served basis during registration (e.g., the first three competitors who sign up to perform as Spider-Man will be approved; any subsequent competitors requesting Spider-Man will be required to choose a different character).
March 13, 2027 – Pole Theme Adults: The Four Elements:
Competitors must base their routine on the classical elements: Water, Earth, Air, and Fire.
Participants must choose at least one element to represent, but are welcome to incorporate two, three, or all four elements into their performance.
The Elements:
Water: Represents fluidity, grace, adaptability, and deep emotion.
Earth: Represents groundedness, strength, stability, and raw power.
Air: Represents lightness, breath, flight, and dynamic movement.
Fire: Represents passion, intensity, explosive energy, and transformation.
Judging: Competitors will be judged heavily on how well they interpret their chosen element(s) and present the theme artistically throughout their routine.
1.11. To ensure variety in performances, a maximum of three competitors may portray the same specific subject (such as a specific comic book character in the Kids division). Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Once three participants have registered for a specific character, it will be marked as unavailable, and an announcement will be made on official social media channels.
1.12. If a participant withdraws without a valid medical reason (accompanied by a doctor's note), they will be banned from competing in the following year's event.
1.13. Trainers and coaches receive one free entry ticket to the event. To secure this free entry, studios must send an official email to the organizers listing their designated trainers and coaches prior to the event.
II. COSTUME
2.1. Participants must wear a neat, well-fitted costume appropriate for their size and body type.
2.2. Costumes must not contain any advertising, logos, or promotional content.
2.3. Costumes must be suitable for the style of dance performed and must strongly reflect the competitor's chosen theme (the chosen Element for Adults, or the chosen Comic Character for Kids).
2.4. Costumes must reflect the chosen theme (The Four Elements for Adults or Comics for Kids) and align with the mood of the selected music composition.
2.5. Costumes must fully cover all intimate areas throughout the entire performance. Shorts must cover at least three-quarters (¾) of the buttocks.
2.6. Costumes and accessories must not contain sharp objects, such as thorns, spikes, or real weapons.
2.7. Specialized dance footwear, such as ballet, ballroom, and jazz shoes, is allowed. Exotic heels (Pleasers, etc.) are not permitted.
2.8. Gloves, wristbands, and knee guards are allowed only if they are integrated into the costume and align with the performance’s character and main theme. Plain grip-enhancing gloves made solely for pole grip assistance are not permitted.
III. HAIR AND MAKEUP
3.1. Participants must wear a stage-appropriate hairstyle.
3.2. Head ornaments, masks, and hats are permitted, provided they are securely fastened.
3.3. Stage makeup is required and must complement the chosen theme and character.
IV. OTHER PROVISIONS
4.1. The use of moisturizing lotions, creams, bronzers, or similar products on the body is strictly prohibited on the day before and the day of the competition to ensure pole safety.
4.2. Grip aids applied directly to the body or hands for improved adhesion are permitted.
4.3. The use of open flames or pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited during performances. (Note: Competitors choosing the "Fire" element must represent it through movement, costume, and safe props, not actual fire).
4.4. Participants may include a maximum of five (5) human props in their routine. Human props are strictly forbidden from touching the poles at any time.
4.5. Human props must purchase a standard entry ticket to the event.
4.6. Competitors may watch the show before or after their performance at no additional cost. However, human props must have a purchased ticket to watch the show outside of their designated stage time.
4.7. Adjusting or fixing a costume or outfit during the performance will result in a point deduction.
V. DURATION OF PERFORMANCES
5.1. Amateur (Beginner and Advanced): 3:00 – 4:00 minutes
5.3. Professional (Women), Men, Couples, and Groups: 3:30 – 5:30 minutes
5.4. Pole Theme Kids: Performance time limits follow the same structure as the adult divisions. The duration depends entirely on the competitor’s registered skill level.
VI. APPLICATION
6.1. Registration Deadlines: Registration operates in three phases. Registration officially closes at 23:59 on December 31, 2026.
Phase 1 (Early Registration): Deadline is August 31, 2026
Phase 2 (Standard Registration): Deadline is September 30, 2026
Phase 3 (Late Registration): Deadline is December 31, 2026
6.2. Registration Fees: Fees are based on the date the application and payment are received.
Individual Competitors:
By September 30, 2026: 350₪
By December 31, 2026: 400₪
Doubles: (Each member must submit a separate application)
By August 31, 2026: 500₪ total (250 per participant)
By September 30, 2026: 600₪ total (300 per participant)
By December 31, 2026: 700₪ total (350 per participant)
Groups (Three or more participants):
By August 31, 2026: 600₪
By September 30, 2026: 800₪
By December 31, 2026: 1000₪
6.3. All entry fees are strictly non-refundable.
6.4. Video Entry: All applicants must submit a video showcasing their pole skillset.
The video does not need to be the routine you plan to perform at the competition.
It can be a recording from a studio practice or a previous competition performance.
The video must have a minimum duration of 1:50 minutes.
VII. MUSIC AND VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
There will be an LED screen at the back of the stage.

Competitors may utilize this screen by submitting a video background to accompany their routine.
7.1. Deadlines and Methods:
Deadline: All music and video files must be submitted no later than February 20, 2027.
Primary Submission: Send your file via email to poletheme@gmail.com.
Backup Submission: A backup copy must also be uploaded through the Consta website.
7.2. File Formats and Syncing:
Audio Only: Submissions must be in MP3 format.
Audio and Video: Submissions must be in MP4 format.
Single File Requirement: Organizers will not be responsible for syncing music and video. If you are using a video background, your audio and video must be pre-synced and rendered together into a single MP4 file.
No Editing: Organizers will not cut, crop, or edit your song or video. The file must be stage-ready exactly as submitted.
No Links: YouTube, Spotify, or other streaming links are strictly prohibited.
7.3. File Naming Convention: You must name your file using the following exact structure: Age_Level_FirstName_LastName If your specific category does not include an age division, simply omit that section.
Examples:

5-7_Semi-Pro_Elinor_Cohen
40+_Amateur_Women_Elinor_Cohen
7.4. Penalties: Failure to submit your music or video on time, or submitting a file with the incorrect naming format, will result in the following mandatory penalties:
A 5-point deduction from your final performance score.
A financial fine of 50 NIS.
VII. STAGE and POLES
7.1. The stage dimensions are 9 meters wide. The distance between the poles is 3 meters.
7.2. The competition will use Pole4You stainless steel (Nirosta) poles, with a 45 mm diameter and a height of 4 meters.
7.3. From the audience’s perspective, the left pole will be static, and the right pole will be spinning.
7.4. The poles will be mounted on a steel rope construction for stability.
VIII. CATEGORIES
8.1. There are no restrictions on moves in any division or category.
8.2. Pole Theme is not a Pole Sport championship; it falls under the Pole Art category. Participants should focus on artistic and theatrical expression while incorporating acrobatic pole skills. There are no restricted moves in any division or category.
8.3. Divisions are determined by years of experience and previous competition placements.
8.4. Competitors are permitted to place 1st place of a specific division up to two times before being required to move up to the next level. You must advance to a higher division if you have reached first place two times or more in your current division across any pole competitions (this includes both previous Pole Theme events and competitions hosted by other organizations).
Example: If you placed 1st in the Semi-Pro category at a different competition in 2026, you are still eligible to compete in the Semi-Pro category again. However, if you have placed 1st again of the Semi-Pro division two or more times, you must move up and compete in the Professional category.
8.5. Category changes are not allowed within two (2) months of the competition.
Example: If you registered for Semi-Professional and later placed 1st at another competition, your requirement to move up depends on the timing:
If the placement occurred less than two months before Pole Theme, you will remain in your registered category for this event.
If the placement occurred more than two months before Pole Theme, and it is your second time placing 1st for this category, you must email the organizers immediately to move up to the next level.
8.6. Competitors who deliberately register for a lower skill level than their experience allows will be disqualified.
8.7. Gender-based divisions:
In the Amateur Beginner, Amateur Advanced, Semi-Pro, and Professional divisions, men and women will compete separately.
In the 40+ category, Doubles, Groups, and Para-Athlete divisions, men and women will compete together, as these categories focus primarily on artistic execution, theatrical skills, and performance.
Kids
Ages 5-7
Amateur: Up to 3 years of pole experience, no prior competition experience, and not receiving professional-level coaching.
Semi-Pro: 2 to 5 years of experience, previous competition experience, and never placed 1st in the Semi-Pro division.
Professional: Minimum 3 years of experience must have previous competition experience and notable achievements or victories.
Ages 8-11
Amateur: Up to 3 years of pole experience, no prior competition experience, and not receiving professional-level coaching.
Semi-Pro: 2 to 5 years of experience, previous competition experience, and never placed 1st in the Semi-Pro division.
Professional: Minimum 3 years of experience must have previous competition experience and notable achievements or victories.
Ages 12-14

Groups (Ages 5-18) – All Levels
Minimum of 3 participants to form a group.
All skill levels are welcome.
Amateur Subcategories (Applicable to all age groups)
If there is a large number of participants in the Amateur division with previous competition experience in gymnastics, dance, or ballet, we will introduce two subcategories:
Amateur Beginners: For those with up to 3 years of dance/pole experience and no competition background.
Amateur Advanced: For those with up to 3 years of dance/pole experience but with previous competition experience in other disciplines (gymnastics/dance/ballet), provided they have not won in a pole dance competition.
ADULTS
Amateur Beginners (Women)
Pole dancing experience of up to 3 years.
No prior competition experience.
Must not be a pole instructor of any level.
Amateur Advanced (Women)
Pole dancing experience of up to 3 years.
May be an instructor of basic/beginner pole classes only (instructors teaching intermediate, advanced, or professional levels are not eligible).
Semi-Pro (Women)
Pole dancing experience of at least 2 years, but no more than 5 years.
Must have previous competition experience.
Progression Rule: Competitors who have placed 1st twice in an Amateur Advance category at any competition must compete in this division.
Professional (Women)
Minimum pole dancing experience of 3 years.
Must have previous competition experience and achievements or victories.
Progression Rule: Competitors who have placed 1st twice in the Semi-Pro category at any competition must compete in this division.
Amateur Beginners (Men)

Pole dancing experience of at least 2 years, but no more than 5 years.

Minimum of 3 people to be considered a group. All levels are welcome.
Para Pole - All Levels
People of all abilities and impairments are welcome to participate.
Additional Notes
Category Changes:
You cannot change your category within two months prior to the competition, even if you win another championship during this time. Applicable to both adults and kids competitions.
Competition History Disclosure:
When applying to the competition, you must list your previous competition history and indicate whether you have placed first.
The organizer reserves the right to assign you to any category they deem appropriate based on the skillset demonstrated in your video and your competition history.

Comments / Feedback from Judge
9.1. The judges can grant up to 10 points in bonuses based on personal impressions.
9.2. The judges' decision is final.
9.3. Penalties will be -1 point for each costume distraction, each slip, or each wiping of hands, up to a maximum of 5 points in each section. Falling out of a move will cause a 2-point penalty for each fall, with a maximum of -10 points for the performance.
9.4. In the event of a tie, the competitor with the higher score in the artistic evaluation sections will be declared the winner.
9.5. The Overall Winner Trophy will be awarded to the competitor who scores the highest number of points across all categories. If there is a tie, the competitor who scored the highest in the artistic section will receive the trophy.
9.6. The Best Performance Trophy will be awarded based on the judges' decision of the most interesting and best performance, according to their personal opinion.
9.7. The Best Technique Trophy will be awarded to the competitor with the highest score in the technique section across all categories.
X. FRANCHAISING
10. If you are interested in buying a license to run the competition once a year, the cost will be 500 EURO.
